HELP error Message!!!
 

I can use my memory stick (photo mode) but nothing else!
I get an error message # "C:31:23"
Cannot find the meaning of this anywhere, have done all suggested. Will anybody with this problem please help me!

It means S real fault - Correction: Load the Tape again, and perform operations from the begining.

If that doesn't work try removing the battery and power cord, and plug it in again. If you still can't get it to work you may have to take it to an an authorized sony repair shop. Good luck.

was hoping for more info, i guess its not as "self-diagnosable" as all that, afterall. :( thnx anyway. ANYONE?
