I know you have version 2 and 3 now so you would know, if you would not have either of those camera's but planning to get one and knowing the M2 is currently around 30% cheaper then the M3, is the M3 worth the extra 30% in price?

IMO, for video, the M3 is worth the premium. Full read sensor, zebras, and ND like the RX10. EVF is surprisingly good, and LCD hinge is improved over the M2 and RX10. XAVC 1080/60p is good, but disappointingly, 30/24p suffers moire/mud with high detail. 24p is worse than 30p. Good shooting. |

You've mastered that little camera for sure.
I had version 1 for a spell and for the life of me could not pull any decent video out of it. Stills were great however. Using such an itty-bitty camera certainly makes for a lowkey under the radar production possible |
