File numbers
Hai !
A question ;-) Every time, when I format a SD card, the FS100 begins with the same number : 00000.MTS and counting. Does anybody knows a trick to have exclusive numbers ? (so new numbers, every time , even when I format a card) I was used to that, with my Canond 5D rgds, Daan |
Re: File numbers
I don't see where there is a setting to maintain shot numbering between cards.

Re: File numbers
Sorry.. Maybe I'm not clear.
I 'm looking for a setting in the camera, where the numbers will count from 00000.MTS to >> . So every clip that was shot with the FS100 wil get an unique number. |
Re: File numbers
There is no setting for that.

Re: File numbers
The timecode is on the files and will run continuously but there doesn't seem to be any way to have a counter number continuously, like on the 5DII or other DSLRs. I haven't yet figured out how to see the timecode in Premiere Pro.

Re: File numbers
AVCHD was designed so any computer with a DVD burner running Windows 95 or better could be used to make AVCHD disks. To achieve this design goal the camera uses a FAT32 filesystem, breaks longer videos into 2GB chunks and creates a complete BDMV catalog which can be burned directly to disk and played in compatible bluray players. However, I suspect most NEX-FS100 owners don't use Windows 95 to make AVCHD disks and would prefer if the video files could be longer than 2GB and had distinct numbering.
