I'm only posting about new tek because it's what coming and not because I expect to be able to afford it -- although the Digital Bolex is sort of affordable.

I'm not even sure I like the look typically applied -- so tired of green subways, blue NYC, and bleached white skin.

So far the best looking VIDEO -- I can afford -- comes from the NEX as well as the JVC 1080p60 at 36Mbps. BUT, they simply can't handle super contrast situations. Even if their sensors can capture 12-stops, squeezing data to only 8-bits is tough. Something has to give. Too prevent over-exposure I have to darken the total image way too much.

Of course, having an adjustable-knee helps along with black expand. Settings left out of the VG10/20.
