Sorry then maybe i was wrong on that - i definitely got the info from somewhere. Maybe it's just sony coming out with a new Shotgun mic at about the same time as V1 and i mistakenly assumed it was that new mic that was coming with the V1. sorry bout that - seems NV1 it is..
