the look of 24p on the A1U
ive figured it out. this may be old news but if you shoot in cineframe 30 with the shutter speed set to 60 you'll get the look of 24p. ill post some footage later if you guys want it looks amazing you wouldnt even know the difference atleast not me. this may have already been discussed but i just thought id throw it out there to all you A1U owners.

Cinegamma 2
Blackstretch and turn the sharpness down helps too... |
Thanks for the info...new to me. Going to try it out tonight.

Some people say Cinegamma 1, but 2 just made it more vivid to me, I'm still testing. I have another post where I list screen grabs with these settings. CM30, CG 2, 60i, Blackstretch, sharpness down i believe 2 notches.
Half way down the first page... Here: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=93569 |
i guess though if you want to keep the 24p look you need to make sure its always in 60i or it wont move the same. just a tip.

Can't wait to see the footage.
