Some footage from my A1U
http://web.mac.com/discopete/iWeb/vi...%20sample.html
Here's a little experiment I did with some HDV in Final Cut Pro. I was mainly interested in testing it with some time remapping and compositing/titling. Pretty satisfying results, in my opinion. Side notes - today I got Douglas Spotted Eagle's 'HDV:What you NEED to know' book and so far I am very impressed. Dense with great info for HDV shooting. I also just recieved the Schneider optics wide angle lens converter and was playing around with that this morning. Very very sharp results - i'm looking forward to diving in to some creative projects with that. |
Nice test footage. I especially like the tight shots with their shallow DoF.
I'm about to start my first attempt at editing footage from the A1U on FCP using a Mac Pro. And thanks for the tip on the Douglas Spotted Eagle book. |
Any chance of a direct download? I can't seem to get it to work.

hmmm.... it is encoded using h.264 so you would need to have quicktime 7 installed on your machine before it will play. not sure how to set up a direct download... is there a site where i can make the file available?
