Delay in recording on the MRC1 on an XHA1S?

Is there any way around this? I just got everything put together this evening, and doing some tests.... Was just wondering. Log and Transfer working great on FCP 7!!

Does the same thing with my Z1U... you can see if cache recording will work with your camera.

You shouldn't have this issue at all with a Z1. Make sure on the MRC you have set CAMLINK SEL to SYNCHRO, not FOLLOW. Also confirm you have EXT REC CTRL > REC CTRL MODE set to SYNCHRONOUS on the Z1
