unfortunately it seems not to support HD conversion.

reading is a good way to solve problems.

Here is what the pdw-f350 Manual states about the DTAP Connector on the side:

"is controlled to 12V even if the camcorder is powered with (...) more power".

So thats the way to run a converter box off a battery powered camera!
