Anyone know when to expect the 2/3 inch camera?

Is it Fall 07 or Spring 08 (next nab?)

Anyone know price? Even a weak statement like the SxS 'under $8000' statement by Bob Ott?

My Guess is spring 2008 and price somewhere around 75%-85% of the cheapest HDCAM, so my guess would be a list price somewhere around $40,000. A of course remember you will also need a more expensive HD lens. The bulk of the cost of an HD camera is the optical block and CCD's so I wouldn't expect the price to be that much below other comparable cameras with comparable optics/CCD's. Given that recent history has seen Sony announce/exhibit new products between 6 and 9 months before they start shipping I doubt that we'll see the 2/3" camera before next year.
This is entirely speculative and a guess. It could be more or it could be less, maybe sooner, maybe later.

My Canadian dealer told me $40K CDN. probably doesn't include the viewfinder at that price.

My Dutch dealer told me an estimate of 35.000 euro's. Body only.
