Sigma Lenses and MC-11

So I came into some money and I was about to make a investment I have been waiting for for years. I was going to buy the MC-11 and the Sigma 18-35 at f 1.4. When I go to B&Hs site cant seem to find that combo. I can find the lens with a Canon mount but not the MC-11 for canon I can find the MC-11 for the sigma mount but not that lens. I can see the new 24-75 at 2.8 but thats not out yet. I know I can get the lenses if I really look around but i feel I should wait. Is Sigma going through some kind of transition? I dont want to buy into a out moded system,

Sigma makes A-mounts, couldn't you buy a Sigma A-Mount and use a LAE3 adaptor for E-mount? I have the 35mm 1.4, incredible in low light, although I can understand if you want a little bit of a zoom.
