Settings for lightning?
 

I've read a lot on this and played with all sorts of combinations when we get a very rare storm here in the desert (like 3am this morning!) but I just can't get lightning right.

No matter what I do that tricky little CMOS sensor gives me banding whenever I try to video lightning, anyone have some foolproof settings for PAL, or at least ballpark ones?
