Is the 4K upgrade license for the PXW-X70 regionalized?
 

My X70 was purchased in Europe, but I now live in New Zealand. I am considering upgrading to 4K, and I see the CBKZ-X70FX 4K Software Upgrade License is available from local NZ retailers and also from the Sony online store.

Does it matter where I purchase the license? The reason I ask is that the B&H page for CBKZ-X70FX says "Only for USA Cameras Purchased in USA".

(I reached out to Sony Professional with this question and got no response.)

No. I bought mine in USA and had it shipped to Scotland. Had I thought about it I should have sent it to a friend in USA for them to photocopy the paperwork and email them to me. Would have saved on posting a box with an envelope inside it.
