Thanks to Chris and the Mods for this suggestion. They narrowed it down to 3 today and asked which one I wanted to lean towards. I chose this one since it seemed to have the most possibilities.

Well, I got together with a friend of mine last night and we hammered out a rough draft and a couple of storyboards. We think that we have a pretty good idea for the theme, hopefully it will translate well.

I also plan on doing a LOT of different style shots for this one, different for me anyway.

How is everyone else doing?

The wife and I are going up to SW Wisconsin this weekend for a couple days...trying to work the locations into some kind of story....

Well, let's see...so far I've learned that my remote lens controller doesn't work, and that I should stop trying to work with animals (in this case, the four-footed kind). Other than that--oh, and not having a story--it's going just great! :)

Dang it, Mike, you just took all the good ideas....

Quick question... I'm going to have my computer in a couple of my shots... regarding trademarked names, do I need to cover them for this contest? For example: HP, Coca Cola, etc.

Yah, I gave up working with lobsters too. We still have them for the cast and crew appreciation party though.

All my footage is shot except the shower scene. I found out today I also need to do a bit of ADR work.

I think it will be alright... this is just a "fun" challenge. I would try to keep as much of that kind of thing out as possible though.

Umm... I'm not sure if I should touch this one. ;)

Don't give up! I've seen what you are capable of... I'm sure that you'll work your magic.

I was AD on a home invasion spoof and they ended up putting the blur mask with motion tracking on the logos. Of course they did it on everything and even some things that didn't need it. Turned to be a really funny running gag.

Alright gang... this is the last weekend to get some real work done. Bunker down and get going! ;)

Well... I'm VERY close to finishing this challenge. I just have one really important scene to shoot during the week, and a small scene to shoot this evening.

Then I should be done.
