Looks good! Not sure if you had this covered already, but through some some/rubber on the curved side of the shoulder support (ie: I've used that round foam home pipe insulation material). Even though it's a bit ergonomic already, a flat surface will definitely ache after a short while. Also, the rubber will allow some shock absorption if you move.

I don't know how well those clamps hold, but you may want to consider adding a layer of leather or rubber (sounds like a good club name) in those brackets to stop them from biting into the tubes...it'll add a little shock support as well.
