Bruce Yarock was selling one on these boards a few weeks back. I talked to him the other day and he still had it. Shoot him a private message. I can vouch for the condition of the lens as I sold it to him in November and it is in excellent shape. Here is the link:

Taking Offers

I'm taking offers on this! I need to get cash to pay for my new PD150! Great Camera, ready to ship!

Bryon Akerman January 18th, 2007 12:11 PM

I'm wanting to get either 2 z1u's or to a-1's. If it doesn't sell here, I'll move it to ebay, but I wanted to throw it on here first. Thanks, though. Oh, by the way...if you look under the thread, post pics of your setup, under the last page... I have pics posted. Not sure how to add them to here....

Steven Houser January 18th, 2007 01:14 PM

How much you asking?
Thx!

Patrick Moreau January 18th, 2007 01:22 PM

I know somebody who may be interested if you could post a price.

Patrick Moreau January 18th, 2007 01:26 PM

Hi Bryon,

Want to give me a price on the dual battery adapter and wide angle lens together?

LitePanel

Hey Miguel -

The LitePanel is a flood light. All the LED's are working. I have had the Litepanel about 14 months and on a scale to 1 to 10 I would rate it a 8.5 really close to a 9. I'ts in great shape.

Thanks

Bryon Akerman January 18th, 2007 03:04 PM

Lots of Canon XL2 stuff, Fisheye, lenses, filters, etc.

I now have unlimited access to an SDX-900 so I am liquidating my second XL2 kit. Everything is in very good condition. I am listing seperately but would entertain lower numbers if someone wants a lot of this stuff. All of it goes to ebay on Monday. My prices are based on the LOW END of eBay prices. Buying here saves you shipping and bidding hassles plus you are getting gear from a trusted vet here. All prices include shipping and paypal fees.

Richard

Greg Boston January 18th, 2007 06:47 PM

With all due respect Ash, 3 days isn't really sufficient time for folks here to have a chance before sending your stuff to e-bay. If you aren't in a cash crunch, I'd request you to leave the stuff here for at least a week or two.

It took a month for me to sell off both of my XL-2 cameras and accessories, but they DID sell and I felt more secure in dealing with forum members.

There seems to be folks looking for used XL2's so maybe you'll sell out by tomorrow and my plea will become a moot issue.

regards,

WTB: Final cut studio 5.1

I would like to purchase final cut studio 5.1 universal retail version. I have final cut pro express 3.5 HD but would like an economical upgrade to pro.
Thanks for looking.

Ash Greyson January 18th, 2007 07:57 PM

Probably right, the main issue right now is not money but clearing space. This kit WAS stored at my office and now is in my dining room. Those of you with a wife will get my drift. She doesnt understand why I wont put $5K of electronic gear in the ice cold garage!

ash =o)

Charles Papert January 18th, 2007 09:30 PM

I've got a Canon 14x manual lens going for $675 if you have any interest in that. I personally never missed the long end of the lens, and I feel that the continuous iris control ring on this lens is preferable to the clickstop version on the body (you can make subtle adjustments mid-shot by feel).

I am selling it with a custom Century Optics wide angle adaptor for only $100--these are normally quite a bit more. There are caveats with that adaptor which I can explain if interested.

Ash Greyson January 18th, 2007 09:35 PM

Filter kit has been sold... I will leave up here until a week from Monday and entertain offers although I think my prices are pretty in line.

Eric Gan January 18th, 2007 10:51 PM

Dan, thanks for the Kessler crane. Smooth transaction.

I wish I had the money to buy your Andromeda system. Folks, I've seen what this system can do and I'm blown away by it. It's like a Red One for the poor folk. You can get perfect keys from the 4:4:4 footage - amazing. If you can put up with the workflow, this is a great deal for the camera you're getting

Taylor Wigton January 19th, 2007 02:09 AM

Camera Sold!

Thanks for taking a look. Yup, someone bought it!

I think your XL2 price is very much in line. A good deal IMO. Thanks for letting the forum members have a crack. I posted a heads-up to Michael Sweeney in a thread not far below yours where he was looking for a 16x manual lens.

A Rare Opportunity for a Talented Documentary Filmmaker

Hi all:

I am looking to license a finished documentary on terrorism. This is an amazing opportunity to make a quick sale on your finished, completed, in-the-can high quality documentary on terrorism. If you made the doc, screened it but never sold it, this is a rare opportunity to license your doc for a worldwide DVD release. The doc will be included as a bonus disc on an A-list studio film with big stars and a big director that will be released worldwide in May.

I am producing two short docs for this release. The client has decided that they would like to include a third documentary, specifically about terrorism, beginning with the '93 World Trade Center bombing, up to present day. This needs to be a finished documentary with all music, art, interviews, everything cleared for worldwide, all forms of media in perpituity. If you don't know what this terminology means, don't bother contacting me. I cannot discuss the licensing fees to license your doc for this release but I can put you in touch with the studio person who can.

Your film must be compelling, interesting, contain quality footage and verified authoritative interview subjects. You must own all of the footage included in your doc or must have transferable licensing rights for footage, graphics and music that you didn't create or don't own. All of your interview subjects must have signed releases that you can provide. If you have never released a film through a studio, you will be amazed at the level of detail that all of your legal material must be at.

Our deadline is quickly looming, we need to acquire this film very quickly in order to make the client's street date.

All interested parties, please contact me with details via e-mail only. If after a conversation it sounds as if your film meets the qualifications, you will be required to send two DVD screeners for review. Upon reviewing the film, if it meets the criteria we are looking for, we will put you directly in touch with the studio producer to negotiate $$ and terms.

This is definitely a rare opportunity that most documentary filmmakers may never see again.

Contact me at blfilms@mac.com

Thanks

Dan

BUMP... hate to do this on Ebay, tired of giving away my money just for them hosting some words and pics.

Anyone... Miguel

Bryon Akerman January 19th, 2007 01:36 PM

may be willing to sell seperately...

If I can get a buyer for an XL1 body....

Then I could sell the

XL1s with kata case

FU-1000

16x manaual lens

MA-200 adapter

CH-910 Battery Charger

EF adapter with lenses

So, if someone is looking for an XL1 body, then shoot me an email. I just dont want to sell everything but the body. Right now, I have two complete cameras... you know what I mean?

Ash Greyson January 19th, 2007 01:58 PM

Updated, lowered the prices a little according to what I see on the forums.
