This is getting a little too weird for me.

Six emails and I can't even get a final price for a small $60 item sent through the US Mail?

That's OK, I'll get another, thanks anyway.

John Inman May 22nd, 2007 05:56 PM

Thanks

Thanks for the kind words Scott.

Richard Salinas May 22nd, 2007 06:03 PM

Please be patient, I'm not sitting at my computer at all times to respond that fast.

Sorry, for the delay Ken.

But that's ok. I understand.

Thank you for your time, Best of luck.

Looking for Motion 3 software

I just found out that you can't buy Motion 3 by itself and I need it for school. Is anyone interested in selling me this software? Thanks!

Fs: Hv20?

I have run into a situation where I may need to sell my HV20. I purchased it the first week of April from ZGC. I have used it to film approximately 4 tapes and I have only captured 2 of these. So it has seen minimal use. I don't have any paying gigs coming up until the end of summer so I don't absolutely need it right now. If the cash "crisis" that I am having at the moment lasts (will know 100% within 24 hours) I will definitely let it go. Anyone want to make any offers? I am thinking $800 plus shipping.

This camera is too nice to sell for pennies on the dollar if I can't get a decent amount out of it I am not selling it. So please don't reply with any ridiculous low ball offers.

Thanks.

Also, 90% of all the accessories have never come out of the box. I have a Canon Elura that uses the same AC adapter and charges the battery so evreything is essentially in mint condition. I could probably pass it off a new but I am an honest guy.

FS: Century optics WA lens package for XL-H1

I am experiencing a brief money crisis and I need to shed a few items that I don't absolutely need. Here is the list. I prefer to sell this all together as a package.

Century Optics .8x WA adapter 72mm designed for XL-H1 but fits any 72mm thread. This includes a Rectangular Sunshade to cut back on lens flares.
Retails at BH for $499. Purchased in Dec 07.

Century Optics .6x XL mount WA adapter. Older model but I confirmed with CO that it is the exact same glass and mount that they sell now for use with the H1. This retails for $329

2 CO round rubber Sunshades. I think they are 90mm and 95mm. One fits the .6x adapter and the other fits the .8x adapter. These are each listed on
Century optics site for $150+.

The .8x is the big dog here and it produces a great image with little to no CA
detectable. It is super lightweight and adds almost nothing to the lens, especially when compared to the old .7x adapter or the WA adapter from Canon for the A1 that incidentally, will not fit the H1.

I will let all of this go for $450 shipped.

Let me know if anyone is interested. If my crisis gets averted I may pull these down. I personally love them.

Thanks.

WTB: Multicam Software (4 cam) (RT2500 and Premiere 6.01)

Dear all
I wonder if there is an unused licenced copy of Multicam Software (4 cam) available somewhere.

The company that sold the Multicam software (http://www.unitedmediainc.com/multicam/), is only selling the version for Premiere Pro. I still use Premiere 6.01 (LOL) but it works very well with my Matrox RT2500 - so now I need the matching Multicam 4 cam version.

Any help would be appreciated!
Regards
Danie

Have you looked at academic pricing for Final Cut Studio? It's pretty reasonable. Or how about Motion 2? It was sold as a standalone program. Now you might find someone who will sell you just the Motion component of FCS, but you aren't supposed to do that:

http://images.apple.com/legal/sla/finalcutstudio.pdf

Richard Rock May 23rd, 2007 08:39 AM

I have a copy of the Multicam software for Premiere 6. I'm not sure if I have the 2-cam or 4-cam version, but I will check.

As far as I know, that company went out of business once most of the major editing program companies started including multicam support within their programs. I've tried to e-mail them numerous times for updated drivers for Premiere Pro, but they never returned my calls.

I will get back to you.

DVtec Multirig Pro w/ belt

Hi,

Up for sale is a 2 week old Multirig Pro w/ optional belt. It's practically new, but it has been tested in-home. Never used for a shoot.

DVtec Price: $445 (multirigpro) + $40 (optional belt).
My Price: $370 including shipping.

Paypal please. Ebay I.D. is wwwguam for feedback reference. Paypal verified. Email is Arrik7@gmail.com if interested.

Incase you are wondering, the Multirig Pro is a great tool, but I've decided to use my brevis for an upcoming shoot, and need money to throw into a hand-held solution that accomodates an adapter's front heavy set-up. Originally, I planned on shooting with the HVX200 bare, which is why I went with DVtec's Multirig Pro. It works very well for that application.

Marty,

Too bad... My Century .8 just arrived yesterday. I know that Andy Lunn was asking about wide options for the H1. He's also on our H1 forum, you might want to post a note over there.

Marty Hudzik May 23rd, 2007 11:08 AM

Ken,

Can you send yours back? I am not trying to be a jerk, but if I was in your shoes I'd rather have all the extra goodies for the same price. I don't know if you bought yours used or from a dealer but most dealers have a pretty good return policy.....especially if you just got it yesterday.

Thanks

I have two Canon XH-A1 camera I am selling.
I used them both to shoot a Bar Mitzvah.
The cameras worked great- I was paid well- but I am not cut out for weddings or Bar Mitzvahs. So I am selling off the cameras.

I have the original boxes and everything that came with the cameras- cable, charger, manual, etc.

I also have the two extra long life batteries.

I bought new from B&H.
Paid over $3,000 each
Will sell for $2,900 each

Bokertonepictures@yahoo.com

Ken Diewert May 23rd, 2007 12:44 PM

Marty,

$305.00 plus shipping on Ebay for the .8.

It was a good deal, as it was hardly if never used. I made sure it had the adapter ring, hood and cap. But for some of the stuff I'm doing, the addition of the .6 for the extra $125 or so, would have made yours a nicer package.

Dylan Couper May 23rd, 2007 12:50 PM

First Dibs!!!

Mike Gorski May 23rd, 2007 12:52 PM

Is it possible to post any pictures. I'm looking into getting into an A1 which has a 72mm thread. I'm looking on the Century Optics website, are these all 72mm threads on these lens so they will work on an A1?

Mike Gorski May 23rd, 2007 01:06 PM

Just a note, I'll sell items seperate. If your interested and think the price is high don't hesitate to make an offer, you never know. I'm looking o get rid of this G5 and monitors. Thanks for viewing this page.

Paul Cronin May 23rd, 2007 01:10 PM

Still left to sell:
Century Optics 1.6 Telephoto adapter = $550
Works well with Sony FX1 or Z1 bayonet mounting.

Scott Shama May 23rd, 2007 01:17 PM

I would love to know what you are replacing it with...

Thanks,
Scott

Marty Hudzik May 23rd, 2007 01:34 PM

I will try to post some images tonight. I am not 100% sure that it will work on the A1 because Canon "booby trapped" it somehow. The WA for the A1 is not compatible with the H1....however it is by specification a 72mm adapter. Even if it did not fit directly the .8x CO adapter came with a small space ring that will thread into any 72mm and thus allow the adapter to mount. This was designed for the H1.

Marty Hudzik May 23rd, 2007 01:40 PM

I just checked Century Optics site and they sell the same exact part for both the H1 and A1. There is no difference. So according to CO it will work on both.

The biggest benefit is this sucker is light. It is just 10oz whereas the Canon one is....well......heavy! IT fits in a small puch when you are not using it...and I mean small.

I don't think you could go wrong with this. I don't know if the .6x will mount directly to the A1 or not. But for the price it is worth a try.

Thanks.

Michael Hechanova May 23rd, 2007 01:52 PM

Well, for the upcoming shoot, I will outfit my zacuto baseplate with a Q-release and shoulder pad, probably adding cavision hand grips to the front. A less expensive path would be to get DVtec's DVRig Pro HD, which is made for front-heavy 35mm adapter setup (available next month).

I don't think the DVrig Pro style shoulder stabilizers have the same freedom as the multirig though. However, If you are shooting without 35mm adapter.... check out my multirig pro :)

You know it eventually had to lead to a plug-in, haha.

Marty Hudzik May 23rd, 2007 01:59 PM

I forgot to mention that is does include a free 2gb MiniSD card with an adapter to us it in standard SD card slots. This cost me $29.99 and isn't a lot but it's one less thing that you would need to buy.

Ian G. Thompson May 23rd, 2007 02:14 PM

Hey Marty. Just curious on why your selling.

Greg Boston May 23rd, 2007 02:15 PM

Just an FYI Mike, you don't mention single/dual cpu tower and what processor clock speed it runs. Those numbers will figure into the perceived value, of course.

David Chia May 23rd, 2007 02:22 PM

emailed you...

Marty Hudzik May 23rd, 2007 02:45 PM

It's for personal financial reasons. I love the camera (keeping in mind that it is a handycam design and not an H1 replacement) but personal finances are forcing me to make some tough decisions. For the workload I have for the rest of the summer I can do without it. When fall comes I will hopefully be in better shape and can rebuy the HV20.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it if that is what you are asking.

Mike Gorski May 23rd, 2007 03:01 PM

Thank you Greg, I posted a picture but forgot to mention.

The tower consists of a single 1.6 Ghz G5 Processor.

I'm interested; how much for shipping to VA (zip 22124)?

Mike Gorski May 23rd, 2007 05:42 PM

Nice just a heads up, be careful with posting any eBay references. Its a pretty big rule here, don't want to see you get booted.

Oh no...sorry if it seems like I am meddling. I never thought there was anything wrong with the cam just wonderd if you were dissatisfied with it and why (thought maybe we could have all learned somethig from it). I have one and can't find anything significant to complain about (that includes the rolling shutter which can be worked around). You should have no problems selling that "little monster." I most certainly can relate to your reasons for selling though. Good luck.
