If you are doing events such as concerts, my PD150 would be a great cam. It is the low light champ.

I just dropped my price to $1400 to avoid paypal/ebay fees. You're not going to get a batter camera at this price!

Amos, the 953 is a 1/6" 3 chip camera. I still own mine. But given some light, it shoots nice video and has a good solid feel in the hand.
