Dan Marker May 14th, 2004 08:56 PM

what happened to my reply?

Ken Tanaka May 14th, 2004 09:37 PM

Dan,
I removed it.
a. This section is for direct, individual buyers and sellers. Not for references to dealers.

b. The dealer you referenced is a well-known low-life bottom-feeder that preys on uninformed buyers by baiting with ridiculously low prices that they almost never make good on.

Chris Hurd May 14th, 2004 09:59 PM

Thanks Ken,

Just a reminder to our newer members, it is our policy to always remove references to dealers who are not authorized DV Info Net sponsors.

Dan Marker May 15th, 2004 12:07 AM

ok.. i had no clue... good to know that they are a bogus dealer

Sony UWP-C1 wireless system

Thinking about selling the extra Sony UWP-C1 wireless system if I get any expressed interest in it. Retails for $500 (B&H has $100 gift card when you purchase it...so we'll say it's $400)...would be asking $300. Anyone interested?

--------

I can email you pix of the components.

Is this a new Wireless system.
Is it true Diversity?
Can you attach it to the camera without velcro?

Joe Lloyd May 17th, 2004 02:16 PM

just to make sure I'm right. This one won't work with the DVX100? The mini35 I mean

Ed Araquel May 17th, 2004 02:33 PM

Mini35 and DVX100

Correct. This unit will not work with DVX100 unless you get the appropriate adapter from ZGC. It is currently set up for the XL1s only.

For Charles Papert...

I tried to email a reply but your earthlink server rejected the message...so, here's my reply:

It's the version before the latest one...ie. The ground glass does not oscillate but rather, it spins.

100a for sale?

anyone like to make an offer on my package?

I'm likely to be on a large project at work (yes, that day job thing), which will take up my life for the rest of the year - hence no time for filming.

I bought my 100a in March, has been used for about 90mins to film an interview indoors, and was bought brand new.

- Obviously it's still under warranty, and receipt is available.

- Bought an extended 4 year 'white glove warranty' for $300 which includes free yearly head cleaning

- Original Panasonic soft (firm?) case designed for 100a. The Black and orange one

- 3 filters, brand new, UV, FL and Polarizing

- Extra panasonic long life battery (the big 10-hour one).

Comes in orignal box, with most accessories till wrapped. Basically the whole package is like new. The filters haven't been used, other than the UV for lens protection.

Reply or please email petergaudry@hotmail.com

Thanks.
