After rereading my original post it seems that I didn't actually list the conditions of each item. I'll sum it up:

Camera and tripod - about 15 hours of use
Additional batteries - charged maybe 3 times
Frezzi light and softbox - tested only
Battery pack for light - tested only
MA-100 - used once about 2 hours
Battery Charger(allows dual battery usage) - used about 2 hours

So everything is in like new state

In case you don't know about this camera: it's one of the highest-rated 1-chip Mini-DV camcorders. Do a search on this very board for "852" and you can read other board members' opinions of this great little cam.

The camera is in perfect working condition. There are minor cosmetic blemishes, including a scratch (not deep) on the top exterior of the viewfinder assembly (not on glass) that does not affect functionality. You can see from the photos I could barely get it to register in the photos. Just want to mention it in the interest of full disclosure.

selling my baby! after selling my xl1-s I have no use for this cam. the picture matches the xl1 and the s exactly- it has the same guts with smaller (1/4inch) CCD's. in great condition and hard to find.
