Nikon (SLR Manual) Lenses needed

Is anyone willing to sell their Nikon lenses?

28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, etc. F stop should not be over f1.8 and should not have dust, fungus, cracks, dents, etc. Slight signs if usage is definitely ok (external).

Please send pictures to eniolaakintoye@yahoo.com including prices, and payment details.

Oh yeah, return policy too please.

Thanks.

Damn that was fast!

Paul Cuoco December 16th, 2005 04:41 PM

I believe believe Panasonic makes one for the DVX100 that also works with an XL1, XL1s as it's 72mm with the same size CCD.

I've seen a few on ebay going between $500 and $700. You can buy one new at B&H for $750.

Gregory Doi December 17th, 2005 02:39 AM

Hey Dean,

Can i check out the wide angle? Is it screw mount? Im keeping my XL cameras but i wanna know how it will work with my DVX.

By the way i been enjoying the show.

Dean Sensui December 17th, 2005 02:46 AM

Hi Gregory...

The wide angle adapter has a bayonet mount so I doubt it'll work with the DVX, unless Century is able to do a modification for it (possible). But you're welcome to stop by and check it out. Just give me a call at 808-265-8875.

I don't know why Canon didn't make the bayonet mount for the manual and auto lenses identical. It would make life a lot simpler for those who have both lenses and would like to use this particular wide angle adapter for either one.

Glad you enjoy the show. It's been a welcome but major change of careers for me and a heck of a learning experience.

Hi Ryan, you're saying this *was* an Ebay item that you'd now like to list for sale here, but the problem I'm seeing is that you have a winning bidder on that auction, so you'll have to get that situation resolved first before you can look for a buyer elsewhere.

sorry - meant to put that in the description here.

the winning bidder has 0 feedback and he didn't know how ebay worked. he wanted to pay me his winning amount over the next 6 months AFTER i sent him the camcorder - which of course is never going to happen. i filed the complaint with ebay and ended it as 'both sides agreed not to complete the transaction' - so i could get my listing costs / final fees back. i sent a 2nd chance to the second highest bidder - but he had already bought a new one - and everyone else's bids were too low.

sorry i have to post that crap auction as the information - but i'm 100% legit and this isnt some 2nd chance scam. email me if you want specific picture specialized or whatever.

Andy Peterson December 19th, 2005 09:26 AM
