Paul Reichelt July 14th, 2006 08:34 AM

Hey guys (and gals),

I'm still looking to get a 503 Head & Legs (351MVB2 hopefully), and I've replied to several that contacted me (and will follow up with the rest tonight).

I had several people looking to see their legs, so I figured I'd quote some prices up here. I'm able to get the Tripod New from B & H for $495 so not looking to pay over that :P

Offers in the $400~ and down range that fit what I'm looking for would be good in terms of a used tripod :)

2 Calumet Redhead (made by Ianiro)

These lights are lightly used and are perfect for lighting a range of situations. These lights are issued to all BBC news crews.

The beauty of these two lights is they come with fresnels, so you can use them as a controlled focusable source or an open face. Both rredheads come with a fresenel lens and a wire guard with holder ring for barndoors.
One redhead comes with 4 way barndoors, one comes with a snoot.

The fresnel lenses have small chips, but nothing is broken. The lights have only small signs of use: scratches, small scuffs. Lights work great.

FS: Century Optics .7X HD W/A Converter Sony HDV

This is the wide angle converter made specifically for the Sony HDV camera. It is zoom through. This lens is new. It's been attached to a camera once but has never been used on a job. I bought this and an HDV camera for a project that never happened. The camera has been sold. This beautiful lens is now available. To buy it new is over $800. This is new in the box. You can have it for $650.

Philip Boyer July 15th, 2006 09:56 AM

Sale pending on the tripod. Some interest in the other items but they're still available.

Charles Perkins July 15th, 2006 12:19 PM

will it work on the xl-h1

Boyd Ostroff July 15th, 2006 12:22 PM

I'm guessing that the optics are the same, but the Century lenses for the Z1/FX1 have a bayonet mount that fits in place of the stock sunshade. I doubt that would fit your XL lens.

hey marc

hi marc

on the camera side id be intersted in the 16X manual and the ma 100

on another note
with your snobwaord invention there...
whats teh advantage to ahving the back foot turn ?
also what materiel is this made of
do you find that your feet are too high off the board to get a real feel edge to edge using the product
im not trying to sound rude... but i rode semi professinaly for 3 years and still snowbaord as much as i can
i tried something similar once and found my feet were way to high off the baord to aprechiate the function of the device
i guess who is your main target
the "adult" crowd i can see liking this as its easyer to skate with it and try pushing to product with people with big feet
any one riding a size 12 boot would actually benifit from your device as the toe drage and heel drag would be less

anyhow sorry to go on about it hope that helps maybe ??

but if the pacakge does get split up
i noticed someone ahead of me put there name on the 16X but i am intered aswell
thanks
MEKHAEL

Century Optics lenses for Canon XL1,XL1s,XL2 -- SALE!

I am selling my 3 different Century Optics adapter/converter lenses that fit Canon XL-series cameras. Each is in mint condition with no issues. They all come with front and rear lens covers. Basically, I will sell any of these for 30% off B&H's price and I will ship for free. (Note: Buyer pays 3% Paypal fee)

Here's what I have:
* Century Precision Optics VS-06WA-MXL 0.6x wide angle adapter with bayonet mount for Canon 16x Manual/Servo lens -- B&H sells for $350; my price is $245 (this will not work with Canon's 16x IS Lens)

* Century Precision Optics VS-16TC-XL 1.6x teleconverter; fits Canon automatic 16x or 20x IS lenses -- B&H sells for $850, my price is $595

* Century Precision Optics VS-07CV-XL2 0.7x wide angle converter; fits on Canon 16x or 20x IS lenses -- list price is $700, my price is $490

I also have the VS-FA95 Sunshade / Filterholder for round 4 1/2'. Drop-in filters works with CO converter lenses. When using Century Optics wide angle adapters and tele-converters the VS-FA95 works to replace the regular lens shade on your standard lens. It also offers the ability to use one 4.5" round drop in filter for added image control. B&H price is $165, my price is $100. For anyone who buys 2 or more of the above lenses, I will throw this sunshade in for FREE!

Please note that you can have Century Optics (located outside both LA and NY) replace the Canon bayonet mount with one that fits Panasonic DVX100 or Sony FX1 / Z1U cameras. Don't take my word for it... contact CO directly to confirm whatever it is you want to do with the lens. They will charge you ~$150 to make the adjustment, but that's probably still a lot cheaper than buying a new lens. Their tech support is very good (800-228-1254)

Please email me with any questions.... Also, I am happy to send photos.

I've bought and sold here on DVINFO. My ebay ID is Jake_SF (I have 100% score with 154 transactions)

Thanks for looking...

Ken Willinger July 15th, 2006 04:21 PM

As mentioned in the original post, this lens is made specifically to fit the Sony FX1 and Z1 HDV cameras.

Adobe Video Collection Components + Matrox RT.X10 Card

Adobe Video Collection Components + Matrox RT.X10 Card

I am selling the individual software packages that comprise Adobe’s Video Collection. Each was a stand-alone, individually shrink-wrapped software package which I purchased (yes, I actually bought them as separate packages rather than purchasing Video Collection as a whole). Here are the separate titles I am selling. I would prefer to sell them all together, but could potentially split them up:
• Adobe Premiere Pro 1.0
• Adobe Encore DVD
• Adobe After Effects 6.0 Professional
• Adobe Audition
Of course, these all come in their original boxes with User Guides, installation CDs, activation codes, as well as Adobe License Ownership Transfer forms which I will fill out to ensure buyer becomes new legal owner. These are all the full, non-academic versions.

I also have a Matrox RT.X10 card, which is an excellent hardware-based DV editing system. It matches very well with the Adobe editing/production software described above. It includes many features found only on much more expensive systems. Combined with Adobe Premiere Pro, you get real-time preview of your work without the need to wait for rendering. The RT.X10 includes Matrox's award-winning XTools, which adds nearly 100 additional effects, transitions and corrections to those already included with Premiere. You can edit 3 video streams and 99 audio tracks simultaneously, and capture from several analog sources or 1394 Firewire. You can output your completed project in dozens of formats with the ability to customize the bit rate and encoding to suit your needs. This is a very powerful system because of the benefits of dedicated real-time 3D hardware, yet easy to learn and use.

Includes:
• RT.X10 PCI card with IEEE1394/Firewire interface
• Breakout cable (audio/component video and S-Video in and out)
• IEEE1394/Firewire cable
• Matrox XTools Software CD (newer versions at Matrox web site)
• Manuals
• Adobe Digital Video Solutions (2 CDs with trial software and training)
• I will provide you with registration password so you can
transfer license to your name

Condition: Used, but works fine. I will warranty against it arriving DOA. Note: Matrox’s tech support is best accessed through their online forums.
I will cover shipping, but buyer pays 3% Paypal fee.

B&H sells the RT.X10 for $389. I am open to reasonable offers.
