Hello,

I have an Azden UDR-400 that I can sell. The receiver comes with an XLR output to your DV camcorder. You have many channels to choose from. It is a truly a well-built system.

I am asking for $250 Is that reasonable?

Jason

Hi

It seems you made a good choice in using this piece of equipment for your interesting movie! Its highly rated from what I've read. Hope your production goes well! I'm sure a number of us will keep following your webpage.

The TA-100 adapters are sold.

Still have some other good Canon accessories left. The MM1 mic mount really helps isolate the mic from any camera generated noise. The Equalizer is a softie for the stock Canon mic. If you live in a windy area, the softie is a must have. It should also fit the XLH1 mic.

regards,

Ray, I'm not selling or buying this mixer, answered your question earlier in this thread. These are not the same mixers, as the one you have shown is Shure and the one being sold is Sound Devices.
Just because they look similar and have 2 inputs, don't get them confused.

The Sure is a good unit, but the Sound Devices, has superior circuitry and limiters. And Sound Device mixers are known as one of the best in the business. The Sound Devices Mixpre2 retails for $665.95 new at B&H alone.

The Sure is a good mixer, so if you picked that up then it's still a good choice though.

WOW This thread is getting confusing!

Thanks again Michael for the informative post. You work on commission I assume :)

Guy Barwood June 14th, 2006 02:43 AM

what about the adaptor by itself?

Maybe you could break the kit apart and get:

E-7S Battery: $150 B&H $190
VL-2 Charger & Power Cable: $480 B&H $550
JVC-V-Mount Battery Mount Adaptor $170 (can't find on B&H)

I'd take the battery and mount if you agree to the above. I don't need a second charger sorry.

If you buy everything I will reduce the price to $800 plus shipping. That's seven lights, a softbox, speedring, stands and lots of accessories for one low price.

Patrick Gault June 14th, 2006 09:11 AM

Would you consider trading the iBook 12" for the following?

2 Lowel Tota with AC cables, protective screens, & bulbs (like new)
2 Lowel Gel Frames
1 Lowel V-light w/ spare reflectors
1 Photoflex Silverdome Medium 24" x 32" Softbox (no bag)
1 Chimera Speedring for Tota
1 Cool-Lux Mini Cool w/ AC Cable, Diffusion Glass, Light Stand Mount,
150 watt bulb - great shape
1 300 watt dimmer
2 Silver Umbrellas
2 Lowel Light Stands
1 Bogen Back Light Stand w/ 4" spud
2 sand bags - new
1 Lowel Case
1 How to Light for Videography (VHS)

I would have to charge for actual shipping costs.

New cost for these items would be over $1,000.

Patrick Moreau June 14th, 2006 10:56 AM

I definately interested, do you have pics or more info on some of the items, as I'm not sure what all of them are. I read in another post that these parts will make a light that is as good (and quick?) as a rifa, am I getting that right?

Philip Boyer June 14th, 2006 12:19 PM

I have a DV Organizer. It has barely been used and is in great shape. I don't have pictures of it yet, but here's a general link to it on EVS online, where I bought it.

I sold my DVX and haven't gotten around to listing the accessories yet.

Darrell,

How much are you asking for the camera?

Patrick Gault June 14th, 2006 01:51 PM

I don't have any photos, but these links let you see what they look like.

The Rifa opens like an umbrella and is faster to set up. The softbox I have available will take an entire 2-3 minutes to set up. You'll get quicker with practice. I think the silverdome is much more flexible too. You can use the Tota in the softbox or point into a piece of foamcore, at the ceiling, at a white wall, through a large piece of diffusion. Just more flexible than a Rifa.

I think you will find this to be a very suitable kit for shooting interviews and more.

Patrick Gault June 14th, 2006 02:25 PM

Could you give me some info on the iBook.

RAM size and max capacity?
Any defects in LCD?

I will be putting my backup XL2 camera up on eBay this weekend. But I wanted to give this great community a chance if anyone here wants to buy it.

My only complaint so far, is with all the foam peanuts that are on my floor now!

Thanks for the clarification Webb ...

Ari Shomair June 14th, 2006 11:38 PM

what model is the lowel case?

Webb Pickersgill June 14th, 2006 11:54 PM

My apologies. I had an XL1s that I sold years ago and I used the text from that auction as the basis for this.. I missed one "XL1s" in the text. The original post has been edited and fixed.

This is a standard XL2 camera package with some extras. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Lorinda Norton June 14th, 2006 11:57 PM

That is a great deal! If I didn't already have one I'd jump on it. :)

Patrick Moreau June 15th, 2006 12:50 AM

Hi Patrick,
I just got around to checking out all the links, everything looked pretty good then I had somebody call who was ready to pick up the machine for cash so I had to jump on it. I'll send you an email directly about some other items I have for trade for which I might be able to get that softbox and a light off you.
