Anyone Interested in a Nebtek Lithium-Ion Adapter?
 

I've got a Nebtek Lithium-Ion battery adapter for Canon batteries like this: http://www.nebtek.com/proddetail.php?prod=LIBA only mine has a longer cord that I requested.

It will power anything 12V on Canon batteries, like LCD monitors. I've also got three generic BP945's and two chargers.

I'll trade you for a full GL2 package, (filters/lens attachments/batteries etc...if this is an XL2 lens that I can use on my XL H1.

* Mark offered to buy the lens but haven't heard back after I gave him a price so I'll have to wait on him before I do anything else.

Lowell: If Mark doesn't buy the lens I'll do the trade with you. Don't know if it will work on the HD camera though. You might wat to make 100% sure before we trade, I'd hate for you to get stuck with a lens you can't use.

Thanks for the update, Aaron. I'm still interested; just going over all that I need to buy to take with me to Oz in April, to see if I can afford Vegas as well, which is a lesser priority. Their site "is" a little confusing with the several packages & rebates--which all appear to have expired the end of Jan. I tried to email you directly to discuss the following, but I see you don't accept direct emails. Videoguys price is 499.95 with the bonus of the complete Vasst Vegas training DVD package & some other sample extra that means nothing to me. They sell the Vasst package separately for 99.95, which means their Vegas 6 + DVD production suite is basically 400. How much would you want for yours? You can email me directly at dalucas@rogers.com with a reply if you'ld rather not post that here. If I buy yours, would I be able to get the ongoing Sony upgrades in future as if I were the original owner?

The 16x will work on the H1, but it's not an HD lens. Perfectly acceptable for use when the XL-H1 is in SD mode. However, you can run the camera in HD with that lens as was done by our own Pete Bauer. He reports that the lens held up pretty good in terms of resolution.
