" -the real value of the camera (near 0) "

Why do you say the real value of the camera is near 0?

Cole McDonald April 28th, 2006 10:29 AM

Sold

These have been sold. Thank you.

Giroud Francois April 28th, 2006 11:31 AM

because it is not more available from JVC (and support is questionable).
it is not sold anymore.
it is a so special camera (good to make movies, but it is almost all), and there are so many camera doing better (like the sony A1 or FX1) that you really need to find THE guy who wants it .
And too bad, but the potential guys that could be interested are probably all waiting for the FX2, XL2-HD, HD260, RED, SI1920 or i don't know what.
As value of a thing is proportional to the number of of people who wants it,
i think we can say the negotiable value is low (zero was just kidding).
Additionally , i leave in a PAL world where a NTSC only cam is difficult to place.
I you want i can raise the price...
But for your info , i receive no offer for this camera at that price.
(i even expect now to keep it, since money problem seems less urgent that it looked)
I am changing my mind very fast, so i expect people looking for a chance to take it fast too when they got one.

SWEET! Didn't know that. Now that's innovation at its finest! I thought I'd be limited to the FD lenses. Any suggestions on the Nikon lenses? I have purchased this adapter from Shane, and I can't wait to try it out!

Matt Gottshalk April 29th, 2006 09:35 AM

Is it a sony v-mount or anton bauer mount?

Roy Hinkle April 29th, 2006 10:11 AM

Andrew Todd April 29th, 2006 03:28 PM

unfortunately i only use canon fd lenses.. (keeping the name brand uniform for now) but would like to get some nice nikons eventually

Michael Salzlechner April 29th, 2006 05:20 PM

This seems interesting

i went to their web site and couldnt quite figure out what i would need to use this on an XL-2 with FD or nikon lenses

any pointers ?

let me rephrase this. What would i have to buy from them to get an adapter like this that works with my XL-2 and with canon FD or nikon lenses

not totally sure if i got this right

thanks

Andrew Todd April 29th, 2006 05:42 PM

the letus35xl is not on the site right now. its in the beta testing process. it will be up as soon as quyen has the new generation of this adapter ready. his letus35 flip works on the xl2 but doesnt have a relay lens. contact queyen or search this board to find out some info on them

Dean Digamon April 29th, 2006 06:03 PM

does it work flawlessly yet?

Andrew Todd April 29th, 2006 06:03 PM

LETUS (the original) for sale

Hello, all. I'm going to be purchasing Quyen's Letus "flip" version fairly soon and am selling my original model (non-A) Letus. It works fine as it did the day it was sent to me. The thread size is 72mm. It was used on my XL2. I'm cutting it loose for $125.00 and will take Paypal.
Any takers?

Bob Benkosky April 30th, 2006 12:46 AM

I really don't understand the post. I'm not going to get it fixed myself because I cannot afford to fix it.

I'm saying, once it's rocker zoom is fixed, it's basically like having a flawless working camera. So even for $1250 you're getting a deal. This thing has not been used much. I've never shot more than a few hours at a time when it was used and the total hours used is no way over 20 total hours. I've only used Fuji tapes and have cleaned the heads with a head cleaner after every full tape has been used. Another bonus, is that the zoom still works on top. I just shot an extra scene Friday with the camera, so it's not like I don't use it because the zoom rocker doesn't work properly. Eveything else is mint. Lens, electronics....all perfect. No tape jam either.

For Sale: Sony FX1, TRV900

FX1, 1 year old. My primary camera is a Z1, and I have used this as a spare. I am scaling down to an HC1 as a backup because of travel weight requirements.

Original Box, all cables, charger, UV filter, NP 960 Battery. Don't have ops manual but so have the excellent Vortex DVD on the camera.

$2350. Will ship.

The TRV900 is a workhorse; included is a wide angle lens and a PortaBrace Bag. This a great camera, and has worked flawlessly. I have a miniDV clamshell deck and am getting an HDV deck and now longer need it. It will make a great camera either as a primary SD or backup. Original Box. $750. Will Ship as well.

Batteries?

Hello Andrew,
Do you still have the BP-945s?

Hunter Sandison May 1st, 2006 04:27 AM

Hello Eric.
Is this a Canon or Nikkon mount? -Hunter

Michael Salzlechner May 1st, 2006 05:16 AM

You may want to mention which one

standard, pro, hd, ntsz/pal, 40/80,...

by all the mounts do you mean the standard one or the additional mounting kit ?

Hi all
Just thought i'd put this out there- am wanting to purchase a full legit non-academic version of FCP 5 studio and was wondering if anyone has a non registered copy for sale? Can't really afford apple's prices just yet so hoping if someone here would have a spare copy? Thanks in advance!
