The camera has been used for probably 20 hours at best. We had two of them. We used the other camera we sold much more then this one. I am confident you will see it looks brand new. Also #8 below is the HC-3200 which is the hard case specifically made for the XL2. No damage has ever come to the camera because it’s always been in the HC-3200 case.

I am in Australia.

I am looking for something low-cost. JVC PD1 and Sanyo included.

PAL 25 fps models preferred (except in the case of the HD1/HD10 where there is none).

I am looking to a much better new camera in future, but that looks like it will be a while, so I am looking at these as fill in/second camera.

I understand that you can record live from firewire/usb on some models to a computer cheaply. If anybody can advise me, I may consider one with non functional tape that otherwise is 100%.
