It was returned to the seller, who has rearranged shipping. Kees should have it within ten or twelve days or so. I've sent the tracking number to him via email. Hope this helps,

I'd also like to thank Chris publicly. Chris, unlike most other people, takes the reputation of his internet forum very seriously. That's why sponsors are vetted out, and members have to be here for awhile before they get access to classifieds. Add to that the real names policy, and you have a pretty darn safe haven for buying and selling gear that can rival the cost of home mortgages in some cases. I have bought and sold gear on DVINFO and never had a problem, due mainly to the way the site is maintained from top to bottom. It's an honor for me to be one of the Wranglers because I like the way things are handled here.

Glad this little incident is looking like a successful transaction after all.

Greg Boston

Heck, I'll chime in as well - I'm about as cynical as one can get but I have had the most wonderful experiences both on the forum and with dealing with vendors and people that I have "met" through DVi. My vendor of choice was "introduced" to me by a Wrangler on here and they are now a DVi endorsed vendor. I have personally met one of the Moderators on here and enjoyed an adult beverage or two. I have spoken to a number of folks on the phone and via e-mail and have "sold" an extra part to someone that REALLY needed it.

Chris, you have something here to be REALLY proud of and I am truly impressed with your willingness to intervene to "get to the bottom" of an issue. And kudos to all involved in terms of ensuring that the shipping party remained anonymous, preventing embarrassment.

You should get more than you are asking for on Ebay. I did a few months back for the RT.X2.

Vinten 3as extension wand

Anyone wanna spare an extension wand that will fit the Vinten 3as?

Chris Soucy January 23rd, 2010 11:42 PM

Er, hi Steven...........

Maybe a cultural thing, but what's an "extension wand"?

Do you mean a telescopic pan bar thus:

If not, you've got me stuffed (baffled), for one.
