16:9 conversion lens has been sold.

I am still selling the DVC80 w/accessories, plus hard case and SpiderBrace 2 for $1,000. It's a great camera. I highly recommend it for an aspiring filmmaker, house of worship, library or school media department, or nonprofit organization. Buyer pays shipping.

Digital8 Camcorder (Maybe RENT?)

I want to rent or buy a digital8 cam with a firewire port which takes Hi8 tapes (Sony preferred) for a low price (under $150). I have 5 Hi8 tapes I want to digitize and don't really want to spend $300 on a used camera on ebay. I'll even buy one if someone wants to dust off their old digi8 and are willing to get rid of for cheap, or I'd like to rent one for about $50 for a week and I'll pay shipping. I have a side project that is a freebee and need some old school equipment. Thanks, Larry

Sachtler Hot Pod Tripod & Panorama 100mm Fluid Head

$1,400 and it is yours. OBO

Used, needs a little TLC, but very functional.

Head is a Sachtler Panorama 3+3 (I believe). Three levels of pan & tilt drag, plus "0." Pans & tilts very smooth. Locks are very tight. Just missing pan arm (something I usually don't use, and I often take it off because it gets in the way. I can provide links to find an affordable replacement to the winning bidder if desired). Includes quick release plate (standard 1/4" & 3/8" screws included, but not pictured). Counter balance works like a charm.

Hot Pod - one leg moves perfect, the other two stick some, don't fall free & just need to be pushed some to extend / contract. I don't see any bends or dents in the legs, so might be a simple fix to get back to normal. Even with the extra effort, this tripod is still "the fastest in the world." Post doesn't close all the way & one of the rubber feet needs to be replaced.

Want to buy a Steadicam Pilot, Flyer or similar lightweight Steadicam

I have just finished a weekend workshop & am now all fired up & eager to buy my own lightweight Steadicam. A Steadicam Pilot would be perfect but I would also be interested in a higher end model like a Flyer if the price were interesting.

Alan Ortiz November 9th, 2010 10:59 AM

The camera you purchased new on Sept 4 2010-can it be hacked or does it come with the new firmware?

Wade Spencer November 9th, 2010 11:17 AM

Hi Alan. Would you take $400.00 shipped to PA for this?

Chip Thome November 9th, 2010 11:31 AM

Hi Alan.... it is hacked. It is an April 2010 production so when I received it is had the early version of firmware.

Chip Thome November 9th, 2010 11:43 AM

These are the images of the one I purchased new. It was purchased from a Panny Authorized Reseller so should be in warranty. The registration is unfilled in and sealed in the packet as you can see. I will include a copy of the original invoice, in case that is the key to getting any warranty repairs done. The only thing I do not know is how the hack may or may not affect warranty. I have seen no threads of others' experiences with getting warranty repairs done once a camera has been hacked. I would sell this one for $725 and I will pay the shipping costs here in the US.

Forgot to mention, the two aftermarket batteries were charged once and those are included too.

BUMP

price lowered to $110 shipped.

Bryan Cantwell November 9th, 2010 03:27 PM

Price reduction. Now $2800 shipped CONUS only.

The accessories in this package cost well over $800 separately!

Denny Bryant November 9th, 2010 03:51 PM

Would u be interested in sending the tapes with a hard drive and just have someone dump them for you? I have a dig8 recorder but i'm across the country and don't particularly want to loan mine out :-)

Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM

For sale here is a barely used Canon EF 50mm 1.4 lens. It was bought new about 2 months ago, and has been barely used, i would say maybe 100 pictures total have been taken on it. I am trying to sell all my camera gear and this has to go. Extremely sharp. If your interested, i can take some pictures of it.$300 plus shipping and its yours!

Larry Huntington November 9th, 2010 08:22 PM

Thanks for the reply Denny. These tapes are old college memories and I don't want to risk shipping them out. I'd rather convert them myself so I can get them in the codec I want as well. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Larry

Panasonic AJ-PCD20

$1,500 US dollars each, no discounts if you purchase both

Previously owned Panasonic AJ-PCD20 drives, have two for sale both are perfectly fine.
Only problem is that I lost both power cords during a move but there are sites that sell new ones for $20 or more.
I require that transaction be done over paypal. This offers both buyer and seller protection and easier way to make payment.

Shipping will be flat rate, and will be free.
Signature confirmation is required.
I recommend purchasing insurance just in case.
International shipping will take longer, because the package can be held at customs for long period of times.
Will not take returns

Chad Whelan November 9th, 2010 09:54 PM

I will take the 795! Message sent.

Paul Cronin November 10th, 2010 06:09 AM

Totally understand.

Adam Chapman November 10th, 2010 09:54 AM

Dan, that looks pretty tempting. Did you just have to fix a tripod base? What did you do to mount the camera?

John Abbey November 10th, 2010 11:29 AM

you can get some ideas for mounting the camera and the unit here...
ZazaSlider

I built one from scratch, and just use a manfrotto ballhead on the carraige with quick release, and use another quick release plate mounted to the base of the slider and attach that to my libec tripod. It works great but just dont put a real heavy camera on it. I use a HMC150 camera with it and no problems of tilting.

Petrol PCBP-1 Backpack with camera rain cover

4 Attachment(s)
I bought this backpack about a year ago to carry on airplanes for a project on the other side of the country. Now that the project is done, the pack has seen little use.

The backpack is in excellent condition. It easily holds camcorders like the PD170, HMC150, HMC40, XH A1, Z1U, etc. It has a laptop compartment with removable neoprene pouch, and the movable interior dividers allow you to pack additional equipment and accessories. Also included is a Petrol camera rain cover with lens hood.

Asking price is $80 plus shipping. Please e-mail me through this site with any questions or to see larger photos.

Thanks for looking.
