Has anyone investigated High Intensity Discharge Lighting? Alonzo has some kits out. And while they're less than HMI's they are still a bit pricey. I'm wondering if anyone has tried making DYI instruments, or seen alternatives to Alonzo? They look like a great alternative to HMI's, being in the daylight color temp range, with a lot of lumens per watt.
