LED worklights!
Here is a link for some corded LED worklights:
http://www.budgetlighting.com/store/...wl&xm=on&ppinc It seems like they might be really useful in low budget video lighting. What do you guys think? I called up the company and left a tech support question asking about the color temperature. Hopefully they will get back to me. |
Perhaps an alternative to higher end chimeras or ianiro .... but! semi pro non led options exist with bard doors for the same price range ... and the bonus is that your set will look like a video shoot and not an auto repair garage.

I was thinking of using them instead of cheap fluorescents (possibly with a color correcting filter taped inside) for interviews in the following context:

Gosh the name escapes me ... perhaps one of the group can chime in ... your idea for flourescents is good ... low heat. They gotta be close though.

Those lights would be very ineffective. You'd do better to find some other form of more efficient lighting than these lights. a flashlight would be a better choice.
