Comer launches the new Comer CM-LED5500K broadcasting and studio LED Light. With it's high power output at 5500 lux and high portability, it is suitable for on-site shooting and field studio setup. The VARIABLE color temperate range from 3200K to 5600K makes CM-LBPS5500 very flexible to light scenes both indoor and outdoor.
- High illuminance with 5500 lux at 1 meter. - Wide dispersion spread at 60 degree spot light - Runs on battery or AC adapter - Infra-red wireless remote control to adjust power on/off, brightness and variable color temperature - Accepts Sony style V-mount Li-ion battery such as BP-C910S battery. The battery interface can also be replaced to accept Anton Bauer battery connection. - Ultra-efficient: draws only 75W maximum power with luminous efficiency equivalent to 500W tungsten light. - Includes powerful magnet snap-on white diffuser for wider spread illumination - Briefcase style carrying case included with compartment to hold the CM-LBPS5500 light, filter, remote control, and one battery. Some form of indication of what CT the light is ouputting would be a handy feature or have I missed something.

Bob, it has a variable color temperature range from 3200K to 5600K.

There're 3 pre-set color temperature at 3200K, 4500K and 5600K. For the variable color temperature values in between, there isn't a display to show.

Taky will the color temp change as you dim the light?
I only ask, becasue the poor girl is being blown away when you switch the light to 5500k while outdoors, and wonder if the color temp will change as you dim down the light. |

Michael, the light has separate controls on brightness and color temperature. Adjusting the dimmer won't change the color temperature.
