Try googling for a local source, also consult your local yellow pages for a local distributor. Any electrician's supply house can get you a case, but it will probably be a special order. Also, local cine lighting rental houses or suppliers might be able to get them.

Try calling around to some of the lighting rental houses, or suppliers that sell cine lamps and bulbs in your area. Lemac? GE Australia is in Smithfield, phone: (61-2) 9729-0011. You should be able to find a film/video production guide for your nearest large city and find a lamp and globe supplier that can get them for you possibly in less than case quantities.

Some large book sellers carry production guides. Try googling for "lighting rental australia" or your nearest large town.

Check out these Philips T8 fluorscent bulbs with CRI=95 or 98.
I wish I had known about these , in 3000K and 5000K , before I bought the Sylvania bulbs ($5 each in case of 30).

They used a $10 diffraction grating and a camera to create the spectrogram. Cool.

After spending a lot of money on two cases of 48" T8 $5 and $8 bulbs , I found Philips Colortone (C50) 5000K, 92 CRI selling for $100/case of 30 at
Home Depot. You just break out the case and get a great deal. The very same bulb is individually packaged across the aisle for $5.97. Any of these bulbs are horrible on my aquarium, but they are fantastic in my video studio,
which is my martial arts training room in my garage. I also fitted another
dojo with 48" and 96" Colortones, and they mixed well with daylight and flash.
