Fluorescent lighting comparison chart
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/H...7/spectra.html
This fellow made a really cool fluorescent light comparison. Currently, I'm looking for a cheap source of T-8 3200K bulbs.www.flo-co.com has some MovieTone bulbs for $20/each, but I don't see any for T8. Why T8 ? Home Depot is selling four bulb 48" T8 32 watt troffer fixtures for $40, including a 6' wire extender and four bulbs. Although these T8 troughs are 4x32 Watt, they don't seem as bright as my two bulb 2x25 Watt T-12 fixtures. What's up with that? Here's a link to the troffers I'm using to light up my garage: http://www.lithonia.com/Products/Fam...=LL&Family=GT8 I'm in the process of putting up butcher paper to soften the lighting. Is anyone doing anything similar? |
Kind of dangerous to put something that flamable up on the walls and ceiling, I'd say.
Why not just spray the interior of the garage a light gray? Safer and more permanent. One thought though. I'm preparing to shoot a series of training videos on judo. The clothing is either white or black. To have the background white would be a serious exposure problem. The school is putting up medium gray canvas on one wall so we have a decent chance to get pictures without a washed-out background. |
