the color looks very rich..i don't think my hc1 can compete with any footage above. i liked the kung fu clip...
the bar sence...i think it would be better if he used wide lens.. |
What gamma setting was used to shoot this footage?

It's been a week since we shot it, so my memory's fading, but I'm certain it's either cine-like-d or cine-like-v, probably cine-like-d.

To those with access to the camera... any chance we could take a look at some 60p slo-mo footage? :)
|
I think they need a professional compressionist. There's no reason why they can't post an H.264 encode at 1080p at the NATIVE frame rate to get rid of "pulldown" issues. If shot at 59.94p it should be compressed at that rate or MAYBE 29.97p. If shot at 24p, compress at 24p.

I'm with mark, some slow mo footage would be great. That along with the P2 price drop and I'm sold.

I've got some of the 60p footage, but I use Vegas and I'm not sure DVFilm Maker is yet updated to handle variable-frame-rate 720p footage. I'll try tomorrow to see if I can extract a clip and post it.

Downloading now! I have nothing to add, I just wanted to subscribe and the thread tools drop down wasn't working...
Anyway, I can't wait to see the footage! |
