GS400 S-Video input question
 

Trying to record from VHS onto my camcorder (both PAL), and for the love of all things holy I can't get it to work.

I'm thinking it's a setting on the camera I'm missing as have tried s-video out from both VHS and DVD player. My guess was that the camera would detect the signal, but it isn't.

If anyone can help, no matter how much of an idiot you have to treat me, then please post some kind words-have been googling all over to no avail for hours.

Elliot, in the tape playback menu (VCR mode) you'll want to set the AV jack to In/Out. Then you should be ok as long as the VHS tape or DVD isn't copy protected.
