Trouble capturing HMC150 footage via component
 

I'm using a canopus box to capture hd footage from hmc150. I've got component out to canopus, etc When attempting to capture footage the image that is captured is the thumbnail images on the LCD screen of the camera, its not capturing the footage...I feel kind of lost here, any suggestions?

Again I don't have the HMC, however you probably would have to change the output settings in the playback menu for the HMC to SD.

From the manual, you need to switch to downconvert mode 480i.

Thanks David. Same issue, but at least I'm on the right setting, thanks to you. Vegas only sees whatever is on the LCD screen....
