production critique
 

hi gang,

i came across a "production critique form" on one of the web sites.
my question to all of you is, does anybody ask for such a form?

most of my shootings, i never see the result, since i hand over the tapes to the art directors.
the idea sounds good to me.

sorry, this thing is kind of big.

I have never come across this form before, in this line of work.
Good idea to have one's clients fill one out, and see where improments can/should be made. Nobody is a better judge of your work than your client.
Usually it works like it does in restaurants: if the client liked the food (and the waitress), he will come back for more..

I have used them but they can be a bit of a 2 edged sword. You need a strong ego for some of the painful feedback and some clients take it too seriously and look to find fault, which makes everyone unhappy with the work. I would only use them with repeat customers that already had a strong relationship to us.
