reflection in glass
A night scene for a short movie I'm shooting is supposed to take place in New York City. However, it's being shot in front of a store in my town.
The problem is: you can see the reflection of the street in the store's window, making it obvious that it's not NYC. Is it possible to eliminate the reflection, or at least minimize it? The person I'm shooting the movie for wants to hold a black sheet behind the camera. Is this a good idea? I suggested a polarizer, but I'm not sure if that's the best choice. Thanks |
Polarizers cut reflections OK, but a little light also.
If you're shooting at night, it could be a problem. |
The black sheet is worth a try, if you can get one big enough.
