Transcoding error, help
 

Good evening,

I have a project that is fundementally completed. I have bee trying to burn a copy to dvd. I first got delayed write errors. I temporarily shut don the cache reading and that ended the delayed write for now.
Now I get the transcoding error. Everything is rendered and looks just fine, just can't complete the encoding process, getting hung up at the 27 minutes left mark (about dead center of the project.

Any help or explanations would be appreciated.

Oh yea, this is on my adobe elements. I have not tried to cut a full hour project on my pro yet.

are you using an external firewire hard drive? it could be going out.

Yes i am using a maxtor one touch 250 gigs. I also have a second Iput onto Usb.

Ironicly, just a few weeks back I posted I had no troubles with exterior hard drives!!

Frustrating.

any tests i could run to find out if it is right or not??
