Nikon D 5300 headphone out?
 

Driving me crazy. How to monitor audio without a monitor? Tried av out, no success. Can an hdmi splitter be the answer.? HDMI out to splitter with left right out. Will I hear on video play back or can I monitor all sound while recording ? Any success stories from others would be greatly appreciated.also what to purchase?
