NVS2500 and PMW-F5?
Greetings,
I have had my 2500 for quite a while now and have been very happy with it's performance and flexibility with SxS recorded on a Sony F3 as well as P2 cards and more. I recently purchased a Sony PMW-F5 and have found that the 2500 will not recognize an SxS card recorded in the F5 in MPEG2 HD: 1920 x 1080 at 59.94i. The 2500 acts as if the SxS card is formatted UDF when I can clearly see in the Finder of a Mac that the SxS is formatted EX-FAT. The 2500 gives the error code: 0x71001011 The clips are standard .MXF HD/422/50 - nothing unusual. Any input is appreciated. |

Re: NVS2500 and PMW-F5?
Well, I think I can answer my own question after more digging:
PMW-5 or 55 format SxS card in exFAT, compatible with NVS-2825 only. Bummer. |
