RX0-series cameras - general popularity/usage question for forum members.
Hello all.
How many of us here use the above camera? And if so, for what particular use case? Just curious really 😀. For me, I have used them in both my passion and paid projects as fixed-angle extra cameras. They work well for me. Any other members wish to chime in with their experiences with these specific cameras? (good of bad) 😀 |

Hi Bryan,
Can't help with the RX0, but I do shoot with the X3000. Granted, not as much as I'd like, but it has been handy in a number of situations. Got it especially for use as a sport cam, but have used it as a B-roll cam where the elements would have damaged a standard cam, used it as a candid cam, and, even once, to catch a newspaper thief. |

Hi John,
Yes I’ve got the X3000 as well. I’ve used it as a “footpedal cam” when recording an organ recital concert (yesterday in fact 👍). I recorded that in full HD only as I never saw a need to record the footpedal action at higher resolutions. Great little camera. Funny how you caught that thief with it 😀. Very versatile machine! At the concert I’ve had both the RX0 and RX0 mk2 recording in full HD using picture profile 3 🙂. The end result was great - both cams were recording more than 3hrs of footage each, and were powered by 2 usb batteries. |
