Has JVC tape changed?
 

I have used mostly JVC and Panasonic low price tapes for about two years in a JVC Jy HD-10 with almost perfect results. Some months back JVC changed their labeling. I think the tape has changed, and I'm having significant problems. Anyone else see this?

That happened to me with the Panasonic DVM60 I’ve used for years so I switched to Panasonic MQ no problems. If you switch clean the heads just to be safe.
