Seperate DV Recorder for the XL2

Hi again,

Does anyone has a suggestion for a seperate DV recorder.
I'm looking for a seperate recorder so that i won't have to use my XL2 camera for recording to my pc.

It could also be one that simultaneous record when recording on the camera itself.

Are you talking about a DV Deck or another camera to transfer
the footage from tape to your computer or are you talking about
a direct-to-disk device where you avoid tape all together and
record straight to a harddisk?

I'm talking about a DV deck that won't cost to much, it has to fit in my budget.

Since you don't specify what your budget is, it would be difficult to give you a reccomendation to fit it.

I really like the Sony DSR11, about $1600 US. But then again, that fit within MY budget.

My opinion, for whatever it may be worth, about capture hardware is in this short thread:
