Mini-DV Cassette suggestion
 

what brand DV tcassette apes do you guys use?
and what type? Dry or wet?
I have a box full of Panasonic AY-DVM63MQ tapes(dry type).
What do you think about Panasonic cassette tapes on XL2?

and also what kind of head cleaning cassette do you use?

I read somewhere that you are supposed to run a head cleaning cassette with a brand new camcorder, before shooting anything.
What do you think about this?

You'll find tons of informations pressing the searc button above. I am personally using Sony miniDVCAM and Fuji tapes on my XM2. No problems so far. I am also working with PD150 which almost rarely had two identical tape brands and was used for training, recording on tapes brought by students. Interesting thing is that PD has about 600 drum hours, and tape cleaner was used only once, and cammie works like charm.
