Sony HVR-M25U Data code
 

Okay, I am sending a file from my computer with HDlink to my Sony, and I am not getting any Data codes with the data. This means any s/w I am trying to use after to read the tape with scene detect does not work, since the data code is blank. So, is there a way I can get the deck to write the data code as it is writing the tape. (Works fine if I a copying a tape from a camcorder to the deck tape)..
