Why does my HM600 put each clip in a separate folder?

Why does my HM600 put each clip in a separate folder? What do I need to change to get my HM600 to put all the clips in one folder? It takes me too long to get each clip out of each folder. What setting do I have wrong and what do I need to change? Thanks.

I take it you must be using MP4. It's different from the other formats getting saved to multiple folders in the Private directory. That's why I prefer to record in Quicktime MOV because it can be saved as one large file.

Hi,

You can use XDCAM Browser v2.1 to repack clips to .mxf files.

Sony XDCAM Browser - XDB | VOCAS

Just browse your SD card, select clips, then right-click and select Export>MFX For NLEs...

If your recorded files is XDCAM EX is normal. if you will record in "mov"all files will be in 1 folder. you can use from http://www.service.jvcpro.eu/public/...odel=GY-HM600E JVC prohd clip manager
