Amstron JVJ-V428 battery?

if anyone could help
I bought the GY HD110U from B&H
JVC is going to send me a IDX BATT.KIT the only problem is i got a 6to8 week wait. As you know the battery that comes with camera is only good for about 40 mins.
Has any body ever use a AMSTRON JVJ-V428. I don't want to use something
that would damage the camera because of lack of power . I just need some thing to hold me over till the IDX comes in
