HMI and Kino Flow with the HD100
Hello
Anyone ever tried lighting for HD100 with HMI (5+kw) or Kino Flow? And for those of you producing in Atlanta region: anyone know the price range of renting a dolly with tracks, HMI 5kw, or a Kino Flow? - Nima |

I would be interested in hearing about the Kinos as well.
We have them lined up for a shoot in July. Tom |
thanks, yeah that generator is a real hassle.
But since I'm planning to do the shots in the US, I was also wondering about the price for renting the above mentioned equipment. Can anyone enlighten me with details? - Nima |
What part of the country do you plan to shoot?

HMIs and Kinos are no different with the HD100 than with any other video camera...that is to say there's no problem.
Typical rates for a Fisher 9 or a Chapman Pee-Wee are $180/day, track is between $10 and $20 per piece, depending on length and if you need curved sections. HMI 5k is gonna depend on whether you need a fresnel or par. Plan on around $400/day. Kinos vary wildly...single 4' fixture would be $15, 4' 4 bank will be around $60. |
