They are very similar, I believe the 110 has image flip capability for using 35mm adaptors.

The HD110 has a user accessible mirror flip mode for "self-shooting" but that feature actually did exist in the HD100, it was just in the ADVANCED MENU. The mirror flip mode can't be used with 35mm adapters. The HD200/250/HM700 have an EVF ROTATE mode for 35mm adapters.
The other primary improvements of the 110 over the 100 are:
- B&W mode on viewfinder
- LCD and EVF can be used at the same time
- Video output can be letterboxed as well as squeezed (100 was squeeze only)
- DNR added in place of "SMOOTH MOTION" option in the HD100. I wouldn't suggest using either feature.
- Adjustable sensitivity of Focus Assist
